Account Registration and Login

  • When you register and log in to your BIWATT account, we collect the following information from you: mobile phone number, email address, and password. This information is used to create your personal account, verify your identity, and ensure the security of your account. It is necessary for the core business functions of BIWATT products and services. If you refuse to provide the above information, we will not be able to provide you with our services.
  • You can also choose to log in using third-party platform accounts (such as WeChat, Apple). If you log in using a third-party platform account, with your authorization, we will obtain relevant information (username, profile picture) from that third-party platform account. However, we still require you to provide your mobile phone number for identity verification. If you refuse to provide the above information, you will not be able to log in using third-party platform accounts, but it will not affect the normal use of other functionalities.
  • Collecting and using your mobile phone number is to comply with the requirements of relevant laws and regulations for authenticating real identity information. If you refuse to provide it, you may be unable to register an account.
  • After logging into your account, you can further improve your information and modify your nickname, profile picture, and background photo. If you choose to change your profile picture and background photo, you need to provide access to your mobile photo album.

Device Connection and Control

When you use the BIWATT App to connect BIWATT devices, we collect your location information, Wi-Fi list information, and Bluetooth information to help you establish a connection between your mobile phone and the device, as well as control the device with your mobile phone. After connecting, you can monitor the operation status of your device and control it remotely through the BIWATT App. This is a core business function of BIWATT products and services. If you choose not to provide the above information, you will not be able to use this core functionality.

Maintenance of Application System Operation

During your use of the BIWATT App, we will collect your mobile device information, including MAC address, CPU information, memory information, SD card information, and operating system version. This is used to collect abnormal information of the application and provide error reporting when the application encounters issues, ensuring the stability and security of the system operation.

Problem Feedback

When you have a problem to report to us, you can provide a clearer description of your issue by uploading photos or videos. If you choose to upload photos or videos, we will access your phone's photo album information.

  • (1) You can click on the icon in the upper left corner of the BIWATT App main interface to enter the personal center and access your relevant personal information, such as avatar, nickname, and bound phone number. You can also modify your avatar, nickname, and password.
  • (2) If you need to access or modify other personal information, you can contact us through the methods provided in this privacy policy. We will provide you with the requested information and modify your data according to your requirements, except as otherwise stipulated by laws and regulations.

Delete Your Personal Information

You can request the deletion of your personal information through the contact methods provided in this privacy policy in the following situations:

  • (1) If our handling of personal information violates laws and regulations;
  • (2) If we collect and use your personal information without obtaining your consent;
  • (3) If our handling of personal information violates the agreement with you;
  • (4) If you no longer use our products or services or if you have canceled your account;

We will reply to you as soon as possible within 15 working days after receiving your account cancellation request and verifying your user identity.
After you proactively cancel your account, we will stop providing products or services to you, and we will delete or anonymize your personal information, except as otherwise stipulated by laws and regulations or unless required by regulatory authorities.

To ensure security, you may need to provide a written request or provide other proof of your identity. We may request you to verify your identity before processing your request.
